Search Optimizers
An SEO-only company since 1997
Our Value Proposition
We provide low-cost, high value SEO to get your website ranked high in the search engines organically. Our primary goal is to get your website ranked high for as many ‘lead generation’ phrases as possible. This will result in qualified visitors to your website who will become prospects for your business.
Our SEO Program
We perform On-Site SEO, Technical SEO and select elements of Off-Site SEO:
- On-Site SEO - Tactics you can control on your website to improve rankings(1)
- Technical SEO - Tactics you can control on your website to improve indexing(2)
- Off-Site SEO - Actions performed off your website to improve domain authority(3)
Our Cost Effectiveness
We deliver great results at a cost even smaller marketing budgets can afford. Our cost is $800/mo (national) and $650/mo (local), plus a one-time setup fee and 6-month contract..
Our Key Differentiators
We are able to deliver high value SEO at a low cost because of our approach to business process optimization. Our approach differs from many of our competitors in these three ways:
- Our Focus. Many of our competitors perform On-Site and Technical SEO as a “one-and-done” task. Then create an on-going stream of new content and do Off-Site tasks such as link building and social media that are often high-cost with relatively low SEO value. We take a different approach. On-Site and Technical SEO are on-going tasks, similar to tending a garden. New content is created only to meet specific goals, a more cost-effective approach. We focus on getting your existing content to rank and ensuring you have enough of the right content to generate leads.
- Our Measurements. Every month we report how many new phrases are ranked in Google for your website. Every quarter we show a trendline with the growth in total ranked phrases. More importantly, we categorize each ranking phrase to identify its lead generation value. These measurements give our clients the data to see your SEO progress and value. They also enable our team to analyze results accurately, and make strategic adjustments to improve outcomes. We follow the pattern of “try, measure, adjust”. We don’t know of any other SEO company that does this level of measuring and reporting.
- Our Internal Processes. Our company was founded by software architect Steve Kinney, who structured the company to be agile. We are able to pivot with search engine algorithm changes and external technology disruptors, such as ChatGPT. We have developed proprietary software to automate wherever possible, improving outcomes and lowering costs. We follow the 80-20 rule: we spend 80% of your budget on executing SEO and 20% on analysis, reporting, and customer support.

Footnotes: (1) Rankings - The spot your website takes on a search engine results page. (2) Indexing - What a search engine does to understand what your website is about. (3) Domain authority - A search engine credibility score. (4) Themes - Most SEO companies target phrases. We target themes because each theme represents dozens to hundreds of related phrases which yields better results. (5) Front-End - Changes that are easily visible by the website visitor. (6) Back-End - Changes to content and code that is not typically visible by the website visitor. (7) On-going - Changes that are strategically made over a period of time rather than all at once. Some of the changes are iterative to get the best results. (8) Backlinks - A link from another website to your website. (9) Link-Building - A campaign to increase quality backlinks to your website. It is expensive and time consuming. We focus on tactics that have a higher ROI and a longer lasting effect.
