Problem

Harney Sushi knew that due to customer search habits, they needed to find a way to increase their online exposure in order for their restaurant and catering business to grow and thrive. They tried in-house Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns, but it turned out to be expensive and ultimately, fruitless. It seemed that all of the online marketing options they considered came at an unacceptably high cost-per-lead (CPL). Harney Sushi knew they needed to efficiently and effectively put themselves in front of their potential new customers, but it appeared nothing was going to give them visibility at a low CPL.

Solution

Harney Sushi discovered Search Optimizers through the recommendation of a trusted marketing partner. This experienced partner knew a high-end SEO campaign, with its consistency, breadth, and low cost-per-lead, was just what Harney Sushi needed to be seen by the market which was already frequently searching for offerings like theirs. Search Optimizers did extensive research to discover the optimal phrases and locations (relevant, attainable, and likely to result in a sale) to target and began optimizing their existing site according to Search Optimizers’ Local 6x6 offering. Harney Sushi had no valuable organic rankings before beginning service.

Results

Search Optimizers attained 100 page-1 rankings for Harney Sushi within the first 60 days of service. Harney Sushi has seen both in-store and catering business dramatically increase as a result of the valuable increase in visibility. As of June 2013, they are ranked for 215 keyword phrases. Their rankings and Total Google Visibility may rise and fall as Google updates its algorithm 400-600 times per year, but Search Optimizers responds and manages the shifts, keeping Harney Sushi in the upper range of visibility.

“Our PPC campaign was ineffective in achieving our goal of expanding our reach while lowering our cost per sale. Search Optimizers has delivered by generating over 60% of our overall website traffic in the last 12 months. Our in-store and catering business sales are up significantly year-over-year as a result of their work.”

Total Google Visibility (TGV) is calculated by adding up the monthly search counts (Google, Phrase Match) for all keywords that the website is ranked on page-1 for in Google. This provides an estimate of the number of searchers who see the client’s website in the search results each month.
